Summer Wasung is a costume designer working in theatre, opera, dance, and film. Recently having earned her BFA in Theatre Design & Production at the University of Michigan, she has developed a love of wide-ranging historical styles and period costuming from a variety of cultures. Summer’s designs are research based and she implements them in collaboration with performers, artisans, and other members of the design team. She is skilled at hand rendering, wardrobe, and has additional training in costume construction. She enjoys learning, film, traveling, and museums.
